myoA for YOUth Clinic

About

The myoA for YOUth team is dedicated to management of chronic pain that occurs as a result of myofascial dysfunction (myo = muscle; and fascial = the covering of all our tissues and organs). We focus on care for adolescents and young adults under the age of 30 years. We offer a maximum of four sessions of myoActivation® to help restore symmetry, balance, form and function. myoActivation® is trademarked by Dr. Greg Siren (see https://www.anatomicmedicine.org/). myoActivation uses a structured assessment to target which muscles, fascia and scars are important to minimize myofascial related pain. myoActivation is based on assessment of abnormal postural and subtle changes in the balance between right and left sides. Pain is a very subjective sense so it is not guaranteed that myoActivation will help, but your family doctor can advise if this an appropriate treatment for you. For young people with myofascial dysfunction, it is our experience that 2-4 sessions of myoActivation® can result in immediate changes in pain and flexibility that dramatically improves pain and quality of life.
